Departure Time: 8:30 a.m.

Line up at 8:15am, Kickstands up at 8:30am

We’ll begin by riding up to the High Point Monument, the highest point in NJ at 1804 feet above sea level. We’ll stop there for a few minutes – 15 minutes or so – to enjoy the site of three states from the top of NJ. We’ll come down the mountain and into the curves of Vernon NJ, through the Appalachian Mtns and crossing various points of the Appalachian Trail. We’ll wander into Warwick NY, a cool little town, where we’ll take a stop.

Rest Stop will be at Burger King in Warwick. Then we’ll backtrack a bit and wander out of NY and back into NJ, along a scenic reservoir on one of my personal favorite roads, Clinton Rd. We’ll possibly take a stop (no bathrooms) to check out Clinton Falls, more on that on ride day. We’ll continue through some quiet roads that will make you feel like you’re away from civilization even though you will be in the most densely populated state in the US. We’ll land at Garden State Harley Davidson where you can get your cool “I came to NJ” tee shirts.

Lunch - The dealership will be providing lunch. We encourage you to support that effort with some store shopping! :-)

Scenic Return Trip will be some fun roads with great curves to wander back. Rt. 23 is available for those that just want to take the fast roads home, it will bring you almost all the way back.
