Donna Peake Ball age 54
passed suddenly on Nov. 24th 2007 at the Glens Falls Hospital while
visiting her family in the Queensbury area.
Born in Elmira, NY Sept. 29, 1953, the daughter of Phyllis Peake of
Queensbury, NY and the late Donald Peake of Elmira, NY. She is survived
by her loving husband Grant Ball, her mother Phyllis Peake of
Queensbury, NY, and her four sisters. Connie Little of Queensbury,
Kathryn (Michael) Thomas of So. Glens Falls, NY, Julia (Thomas) Lyga of
Cazenovia, NY, and Nanette (Steven) Doheny of So Glens Falls, NY. She
had a close and loving relationship with her sisters as well as with her
5 nieces and 4 nephews.
Donna’s passions in life were Hot Air Balloons and Motorcycles. Donna
loved floating above the ground in a hot air balloon. She was always the
first to volunteer for crew and never hesitated to ride if asked. She
will be greatly missed by her many friends in the sport of Hot Air
Ballooning.
Donna’s passion for motorcycling was influenced by her father when she
was a young girl. She and her husband spent many hours riding. Donna was
a friend to anyone she met and she will be greatly missed by everyone in
the motorcycle community.
Donna was a positive influence in every aspect of her life whether she
was riding the roads on her motorcycle, floating above the ground in a
Hot air balloon, or being with family and friends.
Donna was employed by Muncy Family Practice in Pennsdale Pa.
A Memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 380 W.
Fourth Street, Williamsport Pa. at 11 AM on Saturday December 1st.
